arguers having gone
up against chaos
minus explanation
in a very definite way
as an expression of strength
via adaptation
stating, “What happens
is merely second nature”
from cradle to grave
as is still the case
unfolding in stages
allowing old forms
of life to die away
sometimes sooner
sometimes later...
