like triangles
with unequal sides
mimicking
stubborn denials
during sleep-wake cycles
while reciting,
“Red sky at night,
sailor’s delight
red sky at morning,
sailors take warning”
according to naval lore
while branching off
into online forums
for endangered bladderworts
being hampered by boredom
stares and catcalls
along with the siren songs
of less literary sources
as a kind of odd story
while missing the point
of eye glosses
for the armed forces
swapped for camouflaged tops
heated over politics
donning crocheted tops
and flower garlands
fusing glamour and darkness
with scofflaws
loudly chiming in
on the hidden decomposition
of gunslingers
after being split into itty-bitty bits
while taking really big swigs
as a fixative...
